Snowflake is the term used to describe people being fragile like being sensitive over everything.

No, I think it being 2019 has allowed people to voice their feelings (where they couldn’t really in past decades) and the people who have always been offensive aren’t okay with people standing up to them so they call them “snowflakes” to deal with it.

I disagree with your definition. Snowflake is a name used by bullies in an attempt to invalidate or quiet someone who is courageous enough to realize they’re a human with feelings and emotions and speak out about change.  People don’t like change, don’t like voices of different opinions heard and use name calling as a defence or attack against it.

I think it’s pretty ignorant to generalize a whole generation like that. I’m personally proud of how empathetic and caring people are becoming. Personally I think that the age of technology/social media has made everybody a little to vain and quick to chew someone out for everything. What’s wrong with having more empathy and people with strong convictions in the world?

Okay there is a difference here. People with genuine concerns are not “snowflakes”. Do some people need to toughen up a bit, yes the lunch do. A snowflake is someone that refuses to accept reality and expects things to bend to their will. Or thinks literally everything and anything is an attack on them or their identity. Or  needs a “safe space” because they cannot deal with reality.
