I didn't know it was wrong🤦😰
I'm a FTM and my son is 9 months old. I feel so dumb asking these questions. Like I should have known all of this before he was born.
My son had his 9 month wellness check Monday and we got on the subject of my son's sleep and bed time routine. I told his doctor that he still wakes 2-3 times a night for a feeding(sometimes more). I told him his bedtime routine starts with a bath then dad puts a diaper on him, then both dad and I get PJs on him. Dad gives lovies tells him goodnight, then I feed him and put him down in his crib. His doctor asked, "You feed him to sleep?!?" Me, "Yes?.?." Doc, "Okay, you need to stop that!.!" It went on with what am I supposed to do? He'll be mad, it's all he knows. Then doc says let him be mad, he'll fall asleep eventually. So my question is how do I stop this? If he wakes up in the middle of the night do I just rock him or do I feed him? I didn't realize I was doing things wrong 🤦😢.
What's your littles bed time routine that I could try with my little. I'm willing to try anything to fix my mistakes.
TIA
