13 and having sex with patents permmision?

THIS IS NOT FOR ME 
I know someone who is 13 years old and has already lost her virginity .  But her parents let her ?! Personally I find this extremely wrong. I'm waiting until I'm married but she is so young. I don't even know if she uses protection.

What do you mean by let her? Do you mean they said “okay Jill go have sex whenever you want” or is it like “okay Jill I’m putting you on birth control because I want you to be safe if you have sex”. Personally I think 13 is too young but best believe if my daughter told me “hey mom I think I’m going to have sex” I’m going to put her on birth control (ofc im going to offer it and hopefully she takes it) and talk to her about the risks. Teens (well preteens in your case) will always find a way to do something if that’s what they want. I would know in my case. I’d rather be safe then have her get pregnant or have a life long std/sti.

Well, I would rather my child come to me and be honest so they can get permission then them going behind my back doing it and get pregnant. That’s just me though.

The thing is, you can not let her all you want… But she is still going to do it! So, it is better to inform your child and give her the right forms of protection instead of forbidding it. That’s how people end up pregnant at 13.
