Rolling from tummy to back?

Question

Our 5 week old just did this three times in a row. A fluke or do we just need to keep an eye on him at all times now?! I read this in "The portable pediatrician" (highly recommend!) but it still seems very early.

My son was like this. He wanted to move, so he did everything early. I don’t remember worrying when he was rolling from tummy to back. It’s when he started doing back to tummy that we knew we had to keep closer watch. Once they can do full rolls, it is a little more nerve-wracking, but it also makes them happier. 😊

My babe is one month and as soon as she came out of the womb she was holding her head up at a 45 degree angle. I started introducing tummy time and her legs are already moving about....

My lo has been rolling over since about 3 weeks he is now 6 weeks it’s normal just keep an eye on them :)

My son did it the first time at 18 days, so yes it's good. ☺️ he tends to not be a fan of tummy time and will roll over to his back.

My baby does this too and it is consistently since 1 month.  He is 2 months in the 31st.  I was shocked because my first was almost 3 months when he could do it regularly and I was able to do a lot more tummy time with him. I think we just have extra strong babies!
