Anyone's child still not talking???

She barely talks her doctor wanted to have her tested but we said no, she did everything late. But she says maybe 20-30 words now

My daughter is talking but I saw no one has responded yet. Have you talked to your pediatrician. At this point I’m sure they would set up speech services for your child. Good luck.

My baby will say 2 or 3 words together sometimes like "Mommy banana" and "pretty please" but she hasn't started talking sentences yet

My son barely talks as well so I got him into speech therapy. He’s trying to talk but it’s just not coming together but he does know about 15-20 words. Everyone says he’ll grow it out etc but me being his mother and being with him everyday I have to make the call for what’s best for him.

My daughter just turned three and can say very few words. She was receiving speech therapy until we moved away and the therapist said that just bc she is not using words as frequently as she should or is not saying words as much that does not mean she is not communicating. If she is pointing at things, bringing you things to show you/ things she needs, taking you places, and is trying to talk it is signs of communication!! That was a huge relief for me!! I will get her back into therapy after this virus is over with to get her back on track. I try to read to her and talk to her as much as possible. She is picking up words just not as fast her previous doctors would like but they said to continue speech therapy and working with her each day!! All kids are different and they will do things when they want too (especially my daughter) lol remember that Patience is key. Good luck 🍀

My son is a chatterbox!! But he’s always been ahead with his words. Sometimes though he says a bunch of made up stuff that no one understands 🤷🏻‍♀️

My son is trying so hard with his words and in the last month or so he has added a few extra words but they’re not what he means for example he says wet for water. He has come a long way now though and is starting to string 2 words together.

Mine says LOTS of words. No real sentences. He can say things like outside if that’s what he wants or water if he wants drink. I’m not concerned they’ll talk when they have to.

Mine not talking yet too She seems a very social baby but her words not quite understandable as I expecting but seems she rather be quiet around others than me
