Is your April 2017 toddler potty trained?

My son is still not communicating well enough for us to start potty training. I did buy him a toilet so he is very comfortable and sits on it and plays. But he still doesn’t mind having poop in his diaper so I don’t think we’re quite there yet.

These votes make me feel better. I haven’t actively tried training my son. He’s starting to show interest now. I just bought him a potty watch I saw online. We will start this weekend. I really have been avoiding it because I don’t really know how to start... just winging this thing lol

Mine boy is potty trained durning the day and sometimes over night. The thing we are struggling with is poop. He knows when he has to go, he asks for a diaper to be put on, poops and goes to the bathroom takes diaper off and tries to wipe his butt. He knows when he has to go, that's not the problems. Problem is he wont sit on the potty to go. This is how he goes pee thou. He did it all by himself one day..  please excuse the messy bathroom.

I’m trying and failing horribly I think I’m going to give up for a while maybe he’s not ready. 
My son holds his pee until he can’t hold it and then pees. He doesn’t tell me he has to go but tells me after. He always hides to poop so he knows when he has to go. When I sit him in the potty he always pees. Even though getting him to the bathroom is a nightmare. 
The crazy thing is that he tells that “pee pee and poppy goes in the toilet” he tells me “no pee pee, no poppy on my clothes” so I don’t know what to do or how else to approach it.

My son uses the potty at daycare (most of the time). As soon as he gets home it's a battle and I just gave birth 3 weeks ago so it hasn't been a priority. On top of that, we're moving cross country (driving) in a few weeks so I didn't want to stress my son out with potty training then go back to diapers for a week while we're on the road

My daughter is daytime potty trained. We are still struggling with bms. She will only poop in her pull up at naps or bedtime. So frustrating. Any tips?

We are currently working on night. We get up and help her use the potty at night and she’s dry in the morning most days now. But she isn’t ready to do it on her own yet.

Our son is potty trained day and night for peeing. Pooping is another story. 
It’s been 2 months of him using the potty for peeing but refuses to poop in the potty. He will hold it in until he is in so much pain. The second I put a diaper on him he will poop within 30 mins. 
Any advice would be appreciated. 
Ps. He will only let me put a diaper on him if he needs to poop.

My son is potty trained at home. We haven't tried venturing out with undies on, so that's the next step. He is only potty trained during the day, not during sleep. I read that is developmental and typically takes longer than daytime potty training. We've been very laid back with potty training, so I'm very proud of my little man. :)

My son was fully potty trained by a month after his second birthday.  We do make him still wear diapers over night just incase he has an accident, which barely every happens unless he has a bad night. I notice nights he had nightmares are the nights he pees
