Zoloft and pregnancy?

32 weeks and my OB prescribed Zoloft 25 mg for prenatal depression and anxiety. I would love to hear from moms who have taken it before, any adverse effects at birth?

I've been taking it since 20 weeks. 50mg. Doesn't take away my anxiety completely, but it definitely helps!

My in prescribed Zoloft 50mg when I got into the second trimester. I was on anxiety & depression meds before I got pregnant but can’t take them during. I was extremely tired for the first two weeks, but so far it’s seemed to help some. It’s kinda just taken the edge off when I start to get anxiety so it’s not a full blown attack. But everyone is different. I’m 33w5d and so far baby is still doing just fine, so I’m not worried it’s affecting  her.

I’m on 100mg. Started taking it for PPD from my last kid and just haven’t gone off it. I’ve been on for almost a year now. It’s the safest for pregnancy and breastfeeding. It’s helped me a ton.

My midwife said that babies can be shaky and more quiet but that it’s fine. If it helps you, then take it! My doctor put me on a low dose at the beginning of my pregnancy but it didn’t help me so I went off it. Just take inventory and if it helps then I’m all for it. A healthy, happy mom is what’s best for her family.

My dr switched my antidepressant to Wellbutrin while pregnant and about a 2 months ago added 50 mg Zoloft for persistent anxiety. Helped tremendously!
