I suggest doing the test for sure, if covered by insurance. You don't have to read them, but will have then if something goes wrong.

I'll have it covered due to previous downs syndrome diagnosis. I wanna do that so that we can take extra precautions if it might be a downs syndrome pregnancy. Not sure about an amnio due to risk but my high risk OB says it would be worthwhile just to prepare for what ifs

I did that with my first and got “inconclusive” results. They ended up wanting to do an amino and I refused. We worried for weeks until they could do the 20 week scan and found my son is absolutely healthy and no issues. That was a lot of worry for nothing. I wouldn’t do it. You’ll know at the 20 week scan if something is up.
