Hepatitis B
Is anyone deciding to delay on the hepatitis b shot for their baby? I was told the baby gets the shot the day they are born.
We are considering having them wait until day 2 or 3. I have GD and if the baby is battling any blood sugar issues, I want that to come first and both just seems like too much on him.
I also read it can only travel by sex or blood, if that is the case why do they do it the day the baby is born? Seems like rare odds.
