Should I buy a bottle sterilizer?

I am looking at a microwave sterilizer for baby bottles ($16). Anyone have one? Or should I just boil bottles and nipples to sterilize them? I read that boiling them could damage the nipples. 
I used the medela microwave steamer bags with my first, just looking for a cheaper option..

Considering you only need to sterilize them once, before using them, and then after the occasional sickness I wouldn't waste your money.

In the uk we’re advised to sterilise them every day 🤷🏻‍♀️ so yeah I would get one 😊

We were given the microwave bags and they worked great. We used it a few times - mostly for breastmilk storage containers and then for nuks which get kind of gross haha

You only need to sterilize it once. And as long as you do go past the time limit in the instructions with your bottle, the nipples will be fine if boiled. I've actually accidentally gone over the time limit by a couple minutes and my nipples are still fine.

I bought one and have only used it once. If you think you'll use it go ahead. It just depends on you.
