Hi everyone. So I have been on birth control pills for a year and a half. I take them religiously. Never missed a pill, haven’t taken antibiotics. I take them the same time every single day.

That’s just some background. So my cervical mucus is typically white and creamy. I notice today toward my cervix there were a couple of stretchy, jelly-like bits of discharge. But I also have light, white, creamy discharge at the same time. I’m weird and take OPKs everyday even though I’m on birth control just in case there’s every a random ovulation, I could catch it.

Well I took an OPK again today and of course it’s a very clear negative. So no random ovulation has occurred or will occur. My question is has this happened to anyone before? Having stretchy cervical mucus on birth control? It is not yellow or discolored and smells normal. I may also note that I used a new feminine wash the night before and had a reaction to it (extreme itching on the outside opening of my vagina which also cause vaginal dryness at the opening.) Do you believe it may be possible this discharge was from a reaction to the product? I just want to hear any thoughts you have!
