I don’t see how a fatal accident 21 years later has any sort of mystical significance.

No if it was real then there would be only horrific things happening to horrible people and only amazing things happening to good people when in reality everything is just pot luck and both good and bad things happen to goo and bad people

But I also don’t understand Karma like at all. It’s really complex and confusing to me

Yes, but not in the way it is presented here.  Actions have consequences, pleasant, unpleasant or neutral.  Actions are preceded by thoughts, intentions and conditions and the consequences of actions plant seeds for new conditions to arise.

No. I try to put good things out into the world and believe and hope good things will come to me but terrible people sometimes have beautiful lives and good people sometimes get dealt a bunch of shit.

I don't believe in karma. Or you reap what you sow. Etc etc etc
I justly believe it rains on the just and unjust. There are consequences to actions. And there are things we have no control over.

I think it does. It presents itself in different ways though. Someone can appear to be receiving good, but nobody really knows except for them.
