My 8yo daughter has expressed she wants to be in the delivery room for the birth. I have done everything I know of to prepare her for it. I showed her birthing videos the kind they watch in medical school and explained to her what will go on including mommy cussing, lots of blood and monitors and tubes. She says that's fine she wants to be there for this one.

I think at this point I'm more afraid of the remarks that will be made because I haven't tried to dissuade her.

She is 8yo but is very mature for that 8 years.

Any other mommas have their kiddos in the delivery room with them?
