Would you be against weed and psychedelics if it were legal?

I read a poll on here about a woman who wanted to do shrooms with her husband for their 10 year anniversary. The replies were mixed. I've noticed a lot of people were on board as long as everyone and everything was safe (I was one of those people). I noticed a lot of people were giving her crap for being irresponsible and for doing drugs. Some people pointed out that shrooms were bad for you and that's why it's illegal? Others said that alcohol is the most they'll do and that's it.

To each their own, of course. It had me thinking, would these people still be against weed and psychedelics even if it was legal? I've meet WAY too many people who give others a pass for alcohol or smoking cigarettes but all hell breaks loose if some other drug is involved.

Personally, I've never done shrooms or anything besides weed brownies (3 times in my whole life). So, I'm not experienced with these "illegal drugs" but I'm not against them. My husband has done shrooms and hands down, I would rather be with someone who was on shrooms than drank alcohol. Drinking literally just kills your liver and clouds your judgement. Shrooms seems to open your consciousness. There are scientific studies that psychedelics are used to cure trauma, depression, and more.
