My daughter refuses to latch. I’ve been pumping and giving her a bottle but I’m so sad because I was looking forward to breastfeeding! Does anyone else pump and give their babies bottles? I feel like I have the only newborn that won’t latch!

I’d definitely see a lactation consultant. Have you tried using nipple shields? It’s the only way my baby would latch for the first 7 weeks.

My sister couldn’t breastfeed her baby for a couple weeks. Turns out he had a lip and tongue tie.

I pumped and fed for a long time Roth my first. I didn’t realize he had an undiagnosed tongue tie. Can you reach out to a lactation consultant? It made a world of difference for us when I did. I have had 2 more kids and saw her with both of them for even more issues and they all had tongue ties. As soon as they were released nursing for better. And then I had to give up some foods that were irritating them and we went on for 15+ months ❤️ You got this momma. Your body was made to do this but like ANY new skill it takes time, practice and sometimes a coach! ❤️❤️❤️

Nope, my son didn’t we tried for weeks. I tried to pump and feed but my milk dried up to fast so I had to go to formula😢
