How long did your induction take?

Question

Going to be induced at 37 weeks. Was wondering if it tends to take longer since you are forcing labor. 
How long after they started potocin did you have baby?

With my first from the time they inserted the cervadil till I had him was like 36 hours. She said it shouldn't take that long this time but probably at least 12 hours but we will see friday!

I was given pitocin at 4am and had my son at noon!

I have had three Inductions. 
#1 I was already 1 cm dilated about 50% effaced. Went in at 4:00 pm to start induction. First dose of cervadil was placed around 7pm. Second was placed middle of the night. My water broke on it’s own at 8:00am. Started potocin at 11:00. Had baby at 8:17 pm. 
#2 I started at 4 almost 5 cm dilated and 75% effaced. 4:00 pm Given pitocin and had my son at 8:01pm. 
#3 I started at 2cm went in at midnight. Started pitocin around 2-3am. By 6:00am when my water was broken baby went into distress so we had to stop the induction and do an amino infusion. Baby didnt like that we broke the water but as soon as the infusion was started he was fine. Restarted the induction around 9:00am and had my 3rd son at 1:13pm. 
Currently pregnant with boy/girl twins. So curious if I have to have another induction or if I will go in labor on my own.

It depends how far you are on your own and how your body reacts to the medicine. They I was 2cm 70% (might have been 80%) when I went in with contractions and because I had bleeding a day past my due date. They started pitocin at 11am and my son was born 9:12pm I was ready to push at 8:45pm. So I was pretty fast. I also walked around the maternity ward and bounced on a ball between all my walking. Gravity is your friend so if they have wireless monitors ask for them and start moving ☺️

We didn’t make it to the pitocin. The plan was to break my water and then start pitocin it apparently my sac was the only thing keeping her in because she was born 53 minutes after they broke my water. A few of my friends that weren’t dilated or effaced took 2 days but almost all of my friends that were at least 2 cm and 50 percent effaced took less than 12 hours

Got induced Sunday night and got the first pill inserted at 9:30, didn’t have my son until Tuesday morning via c section.

I wasn’t induced but I did get pitocin and cervadil after starting labor and it took 18 hours.
