Buying a house HELP‼️⁉️ (Do not know what group to put this in.)

So I was looking to rent a house, but there’s none for rent only for sale...

My credit isn’t that great neither is my boyfriends.

I was wondering, would we be able to put 5% down payment on it? Or would that depend on your credit??

Also, if we were to be able to pay the down payment without a loan or anything would we be able to get a house with bad credit?

Can someone walk me through this house buying? I’m lost and confused .

Or would we have to put a bigger percentage on the down payment?
