Clomid users?

Question

My doctor said that he would put me on clomid to help me conceive due to my extremely irregular periods-who’s been on clomid and what were your side effects? How long did it take you to conceive?

My first kiddo took three rounds 50mg, 100mg and then conceived on 150mg. 2nd pregnancy took 6-9 cycle can’t remember conceive on 100 and lost the baby at 5 weeks. Did one more cycle of 150mg and conceived. Side effects for me is I became a real bitch. I’m a normally easy going person, on clomid I just mean. Hot flashes, night sweats, and headaches I found taking before bed helped lessen the symptoms. Other side effect is multiples. My doctors always down played the risks of multiples. Saying chances of twins were only 10% and triplets were less then 1 %. Well my trio is that less then 1 %. I’m extremely excited and love that there are three but some people aren’t aware it’s an actually possibility and if it’s not something you want clomid is not a good choice

I’m on my second round luckily I don’t have any side effects I haven’t conceived yet I’m currently in my 2 week wait so hopefully It’s my month

I'm on round 5 and get quite a few side effects, worse for me are the ovulation pain, cramping and the night sweats, oh and my boyfriend says it sends me a wee bit crazy! But all in all it's not that bad :)
