Personally I wouldn’t. I just like all of my hair the same length, especially when I put it up. My sister had bags and it’s hard to maintain them if you are particular about having them a certain length. She doesn’t want them anymore so growing them out has been a long process. They are hanging past her eyes and they are super hard to keep out of her face even with her hair up and pinned back. If you want them go for it because like others said hair grows, but personally for me I don’t think it’s worth the hassle.
