Could it be something worse??

Hey girls, 
I’m going to keep this brief.
A week ago, I had sex with a guy. I have an IUD fitted so we decided to do it without a condom. However I’ve been spotting ever since, and I’m worried that maybe my IUD has moved out of place. I don’t feel any pain and there’s no irritation, just bleeding. I’m not due for my period for 2 weeks so I’m wondering if anyone’s had a similar experience?? I plan on going to a sex clinic tomorrow and getting my IUD checked/ STD check but I just wanted to know if anyone’s had a similar experience?

I’ve had my IUD for a year and a half and I still spot after some sex. Do you check your strings? That will be an easy way to tell if it’s moved if you can’t feel the strings or they are much longer or shorter than normal.

with the iud, irregular bleeding is normal for the first 3-6 months. if your having no pain then the iud most likely didn’t move. your probably just gonna have irregular bleeding and missed periods until your body figured it out.

You're probably going to have spotting for a while. Your uterus just went through something traumatic having something shoved up into it
