HCG Questions?

I got my HCG results back from when I was 5 weeks pregnant (2 weeks ago) and it said 3,211. Would this be normal for this time?

That is a great number, however the purpose of taking hcg levels is to have something to compare it to. The doctor should have ordered two sets of bloodwork 48 hours apart to have something to compare it to. The only thing that matters is that the level should be rising, particularly doubling every 48-72 hours.

I had my levels checked and doctor called and said they were find but this is what’s on my patient portal. Hope this helps.

There’s such a huge range, but yes, that is within normal range.  The initial number doesn’t matter; what’s matters is that it’s doubling.
