Private???

Has anyone gone private with the dr visits and hospital? Just wondering how much dr visits cost.. I went public with my first baby but now I have private health insurance ☺️

I have shit insurance through my employer. It blows my mind that I’m a nurse and I have the worse coverage. I pay a car payment every time I go to the doctor to cover his fees alone. 300 bucks. My out of pocket is 7000 so I’m guessing I’ll pay 7000 for my first baby lol. Such a joke.

I may be mistaken but I think some public offices accept private insurance as well idk I’ve always went public. I have state insurance though

It depends on what type of coverage you have. I have high deductible so I’m paying about $100ish + when I get my invoices. If you don’t have that one and just based on co-payment per visit then if I remember, you don’t pay anything for OB just for ultrasounds and maybe your anual deductible for labor. Going private is the best thing ever. Your OB is your everything and if you have a great relationship is even better. Good luck!
