I went in today for a possibly water break. I made a post early this morning showing my wet pants. I got one negative strip and one positive strip for amniotic fluid. He did a pelvic exam, said I had a lot of mucus and some sperm spots from having sex yesterday morning. He did a cotton swab and put it under a microscope and said he couldn’t confirm if it was because sperm can cause a positive strip. My cervix hasn’t changed since the last time I was checked. He told me to come in if I’m wet or leaking. I’ve noticed still a swishing down there from this morning. My underwear isn’t wet, kinda damp. But when I go the bathroom, I feel like there is a small puddle of fluid sitting in my vagina so when I go pee i get the sensation of a lot of fluid coming out in the beginning. Like a big drop. Any ideas? I hate to bug the midwives and nurses if it’s not anything to be concerned about.
