Is anyone having contractions that feel like period cramps and back pain but no tightening????

I’m having a very similar issue where I’ll have back pain and cramps but no tightening but then when I have tightening its not painful 🤷🏻‍♀️🙄 I don’t understand it lmao. Like the pain does not match up with the tightening I don’t understand whats going on lol.

I've had lots of cramping, my midwife told me it's just my uterus strengthening and getting ready for baby but they go away, aren't really timeable like contractions.
