Has anyone tried it or known anyone to try it? Ive done a lot of research but it's all very opinion based rather than facts. I've seen some people say it makes the baby poop which puts them at risk and also seen people say it doesn't because of the almond butter. What's everyones opinion?

If you wanna stimulate your bowels to hopefully start labor you may as well try an enema. Safer and you won’t risk hurting baby.

I did because I was super constipated and it didn’t really cause contractions for me but it might work for others!

Main thing is anything that u do try it WILL work ONLY if ur body IS READY. For any woman to come on these post and say nothing works well no my dear it just didn’t work for YOU! I’ve had 6 babies this is my 7th ... castor oil worked within an hour for me... membrane sweep worked same day for me with another... evening primrose inserted worked same night for me with one .. walking up and down my stairs for a good hour worked same night .... so no some things may not work when ur body not ready but to tell someone nothing works is false .. it will just as long as ur body is actually ready. Y’all Debby downers should stay off ppl post if the answer u giving has nothing to do with the question asked ... did u take it or not? Yes or no? That’s it !!!

I drank it with my first at noon and had him the next day at 8 am. I did mix with castor oil which is dangerous. I do not recommend I had a very hard labor and entire experience and I blame that!

It’s an oil, so it doesn’t pass to the baby. I think get that misconception because stress can make the baby poop. So if they are over their due date or if it causes a long stressful labor it can make them poop. Me personally, I’ve tried it a few times. Tried it with my son, did nothing. Tried it with my daughter, I went into labor half way through drinking it. So I don’t think it was that. Tried it with this one twice and just gave me contractions for a few hours and then nothing. 🤷🏼‍♀️

I’ve heard it has caster oil in it. According to my doctor, caster oil does not bring on labor at all. What it does do is give you horrible stomach cramps and diarrhea.

He’s right, if your body isn’t ready you won’t go into labor. But the idea is that it will irritate your bowels, which in turn irritates your uterus to cause contractions. For me it never gave me diarrhea. And I’ve done it four times. But your doc is right. It never worked to bring on labor for me either haha
