Opinions Much Appreciated ❤️
I have a question ladies? A little back story, My Better half and I are ready to start a family together and I need some opinions, we have not been preventing but not actively trying for 2 1/2years, I have a 7 year old daughter From my previous marriage, my BH doesn’t have any children of his own right now, we are both 24 and in decent health. I had never been on any birth control but had Nexplanon inserted after giving birth to her April, 2012, it was removed, June 2016. I have had slightly irregular periods varying usually between 29-38 and up to 43 days on some occasions ever since. I scheduled an appointment with my gynecologist as was needed for a pap exam and asked what options she recommended to help regulate my periods not only to hopefully help us TTC but so I’m more in tune with my body as well. She said based off my cycles she recommended 3 months of a low dose birth control pill ( Tri Lo Sprintec) to see if it will regulate things and 6 months if not. My question is have any of you ladies had any success with birth control regulating your periods or know anyone that has? From what I’ve read it seems a little counterintuitive but I’m also unfamiliar with the situation. I have been taking it for 2 weeks and have been fine so far but i don’t want to risk messing my cycles up anymore if it’s not really going to help.
Thank you Ladies!! I wish every one of you the best in your TTC journey and in life in general, you all deserve it!! If no one has told you today, you are beautiful and you are worthy, you’re all queens, don’t let anyone tell you otherwise and don’t let anyone take your crown!! Much Love and Baby Dust to all!!! ❤️❤️👑👑
