Cerclage?

Summer

After 2 miscarriages, diagnosed with abnormal cycles, clotting disorder and incompetent uterus the doctor started us on clomid and wants to do the cerclage. I’m curious as if I should go on strict bed rest an take medical leave from work? I work at Home Depot in the paint section and I’m CONSTANTLY on my feet, 8+ hours a day, lifting 80 pound buckets all day and running around different departments trying to help customers. I just need some advice on what to do. Honestly, I’m so close to giving up on TTC. I’m trying my absolute hardest to keep strong and positive during this whole process but it’s beyond hard when health curve balls keep being thrown at you😔 I take blood thinners in my stomach every single day. What should I expect from this whole process? Do I take off work? I’m just so lost😩😩

I had a cerclage put in after my 24 week check up due to my weak and think cervix and also being 2 cm dilated. I was on strict bedrest after the cerclage and was taken off after a week. I had the baby 2 weeks later due to early contractions. I’m not saying that would happen to you. Because I was already dilated. But I wouldn’t recommend you going back to work only because what you just stated you do for work. Best of luck with TTC.

I hope you an the baby are both okay!❤️ it really is such a scary thing I’ve been seeing so many scary stories online about the cerclage but also amazing success stories. The doctor said he 100% wants to do that to help us keep our pregnancy when we get there. I also was thinking it’s best for me to take medical leave because my job is physically demanding an I just don’t wanna risk anything.
