I posted last night about how my car started swerving when I was driving back home & I couldn’t steer anymore. I had to pull to the side of the road & waited until my parents got there. My bf gets out of work at 5 pm & I get out at 9 pm. I had been calling him since I got out but he didn’t answer. After my stepdad helped me move the car into a parking lot, I texted him what had happened and he responded 15 minutes later asking if I was okay. He has his truck & could’ve easily came to help me get the car out the way - he’s done so before when I had a flat tire. However he didn’t offer to nor did he text back asking for any update. He didn’t even call AND keep in mind that I had NOT told him yet that I had already got help. After that text, I hadn’t responded because I was calling the towing company but still, he didn’t double text, call or anything. I didn’t end up getting home until 3 AM because the worker didn’t show up, so the boss came for me. Then he texts me saying “good morning” still not asking about what happened last night. My mom said he’s an asshole and I shouldn’t talk to him anymore. I low key feel he doesn’t care anymore because I’m moving away for college. When she invited him to my brother’s party, he said “what for? ____ is not gonna be there anymore”
