Trips while pregnant

So my husband wants to plan a trip while I’ll be 28 weeks...it’s my first pregnancy so just curious....will I really want to do this?! It involves a few hour plan ride and dealing with my (mostly) fine in-laws.....just wondering will I be uncomfortable or miserable the whole time?

I went to see my in-laws in NY when I was 20weeks I loved it but at the same time it was go go go everyday and we had stuff to do everyday. We had a good time but I would of preferred a vacation doing NOTHiNG and not having to be talkative 24/7.

Like seriously it sucks being pregnant and not being able to take naps when you want and having to entertain people. I would of preferred being on a beach laying around doing nothing and just people watching lol

It’s impossible to say as every pregnancy is different. That’s probably a good time though as hopefully you’ll be past morning sickness but it’s early enough that you should be comfortable and hopefully have plenty of energy. I would wait to see how you feel a bit closer to the time if you can but my guess is you’d be fine :) x

I would’ve been miserable and uncomfortable. It really just depends on the woman and pregnancy. Being in a different bed, being gone from home, being u comfortableish around in laws, on top of being tired, sore, cranky...I would’ve been miserable. Someone asked me to go on a few hours away trip around 28 weeks and I said no.

28 weeks would probably be fine just check with your doctor. I probably wouldn’t go after 32 weeks

I flew overseas at 27 and 29 weeks. The flight there was just fine. The flight home was brutal. I’ve even canceled a trip I was going on next week because my body is so over it. That said, every body is literally different!! I’m measuring about 3 weeks ahead and I’m worn out 100% of the time and am an older momma. No complications in the pregnancy, just a general uncomfortableness that has morphed into constant pain and exhaustion. I have a friend much younger who is 34 weeks and just did a 12 hour road trip with her partner and has never felt better! 😮
