Comment whether you do or you don’t and how you manage to come to agreements on parenting techniques.

We do on the important stuff 100%. We talked about it extensively before having kids. There were major deal breakers for me. If he had opposite views on certain things we wouldn’t have had kids or gotten married.

We’re different. My husband wants to be a friend before a parent so he’s very hesitant to discipline, and I want to be a parent so I’m the bad guy and discipline. We knew it would be like this before we had kids, it’s our personalities, but I try to tell him as often as I can that he needs to discipline too because it’s unfair to me and the kid will walk all over him as he grows up.

We do and we dont. I sit down and explain more. Hes always the good guy and im the bad guy. Our oldest is 2 and its taken awhile for us to communicate our feelings about it. We have the same goals, we just never discuss them with each other.
