Advice needed

Hey ladies, I’ve been with my boyfriend for a little over five months. We haven’t been seeing each other regularly, maybe once a week. When we see each other it’s great but when we text I feel so much distance between us and he’s not always available for FaceTime or call. Just yesterday I recommended a show to him and he knows I’m really passionate about it but he said he already knew what it was about so he didn’t want to. It kind of felt like he was disregarding my interests. I’ve talked to him a lot recently about if we’re going to break up or if he’s still into me so I don’t want to ask again because I feel like it will just annoy him to the point of breaking up with me. Lately it feels like we’re not totally wrong for each other, but we can both certainly do better. What do you think I should do?
