Is your baby right or left handed?

My daughter is a total lefty! Which is weird since no one in our family is on both sides.

Babies are actually ambidextrous until 2 or 3. When I taught preschool, we always had one or two incoming preschool students still using both hands! 
It’s definitely possible that a baby favors one hand over the other, but they can actually demonstrate skills with both hands until that age. I think that’s kinda cool. 🤷‍♀️

Handedness can change as late as 5 years old! If I remember right, it’s not genetic surprisingly.

My 7.5yr old is a lefty and no one in either families is lefty and my 1yr old is a lefty and I think it’s more bcz he had trauma from birth and it caused him to not be able to notice or use his right side of his body so he just got really good with his left hand I think we are able to chose which hand they use by how we give them food or toys and things like that

I'm a lefty and so are my two older brothers. Having 5 kids I'd hoped at least one of them would be left too, but noooo, I'm alone on that one! 😂

Addison doesn't seem to favor either hand more. I've been trying to watch because my sister showed me a article that said red heads are more likely to be left handed and it made me curious. (I don't know if it's trur) But so far she uses both about the same.

My husband is a lefty!! And it’s looking like my girl is too!! I know they say it’s too early to tell, but I SWEAR she’s a lefty. Her coordination with the right hand is nowhere near as good as with the left. And she automatically grabs food and toys with the left. Looks like I’m outnumbered now as a righty😂

With my first two, I was able to tell once they were grabbing objects more and just watching which hand they always took things from me with. I used to hold a crayon out and see which one they would use. My first two write with their lefts and they are 9 and 6. My baby uses his right hand quite often so to me, I think he will be a righty

Is it maybe too early to really know? Legit asking - I haven't looked into it lol. Sometimes my girl seems to favor her left but not always. That's why I wonder if it's too early. If mine's a lefty, she'll be the only one in our close family lol.
