After you had a c-section, when were you cleared by your doctor to lift things over 10 pounds? Like another child of yours?

Answer

My c-section baby was 9.2lb so basically straight away I was cleared to as they say nothing heavier than baby. Take things easy till your 6 week check up though. If you feel you can lift something without any pain or straining then go ahead as it is strengthening you but remember to breath out as you lift and to bend your knees. Most important is to heal though so ask for help if you can x
