We’d was my last dr apt. Cervix was still high and completely closed. Dr scheduled induction for 18th, due 8/10, in case baby didn’t come on his own. Dr said he believed I would go pass due date but also said things can change in a matter of days and boy did they. I woke up yesterday morning at 330 with what I thought were Braxton-Hicks. Never had I experienced one. Contractions were off and on all day. At 640p they became 5 min apart. Still tolerable. Went to labor and delivery and boy did they pick up in intensity. Found out I was 3 cm and 60 effaced. I was miserable the two hours they were checking to see if labor would progress. Luckily it did. They kept me. And getting the epidural was the best thing I could have even done. 6 hours later my little man came with 20 minutes of pushing!
