Alright ladies, I need help!!

Well to get the story started off I’ve never really had the usually doctor visits because lack of insurance. Well a little a while back I was 16 and you know how most are... wanting to experience sexual interactions. Well I talk to my mom about it and asked about getting a form of birth control she agreed that was best so we proceeded to make a doctors appointment. Well they did some other small things and ran blood work. The blood work had come back a few days after and on my next visit as I was walking out the door to do a urine sample the nurse mentioned something to my mother about pcos. At the time you know I was young didn’t quite know what it was or meant. Well they offered my mom a chance for me to come back and take further testings to clarify well she said there wasn’t a need just yet since I was so young. And here I sit years later still with unanswered questions. I plan to get on some kind of insurance and start doctor visits regularly but my period is late by 55days now. I haven’t taken a test just because I’ve had this kind of scare before and it was negative.. all ive ever wanted is to have children so I’m really needing help whether it be guidance or story’s of your pcos story! PLEASE HELP ME OUT 😭😭😭😭
