Shift wives/SO question....help!

So my husband is a firefighter and he works 24 hour shifts, and of course I got my positive opk this morning. Thankfully, he was home when I got my positive and we BD’d before he left. But, I know that after you get your positive opk you typically ovulate 24 to 36 hours after you get the positive. I just wanted to ask you ladies what time do you find is the best times BD? I won’t see him again until tomorrow around 3 or 4pm, so about 36 hours after I got my first positive, since we BD’d today and we plan on tomorrow as soon as I see him, do you think we still have a good shot?

I think you have a good shot, just try your best to squeeze tomorrow in! I got pregnant by having sex 6 days before ovulation. Plus I had a yeast infection around ovulation time (not when I had sex). Anything can happen lol. Good luck, hun! ❤

My husband was working night shift the day I got a positive ovulation test. I took the test at 1:30pm and we had sex around 3:30pm before he went into work that night. That was the only time we had sex that week and I just found out I’m pregnant. It only takes one time, as long as it’s the right time. As long as you were able to do it once within 24 hours of that positive OPK, your chances are good.
