Okay, so I KNOW you’re not supposed to compare kids, because every kid is different. But when did YOURS start speaking/walking/feeding themselves? My son can’t say any legitimate words regularly yet (he would have just been a year old per his due date) and while he CAN walk, he chooses not to do it solo (but furniture surfs CONSTANTLY). He also only has two items he’ll feed himself— I wasn’t worried and wasn’t comparing, but my husband and I got into it the other day because his co-workers kids are ahead of him, and he feels like our boy is falling behind. Now I’m worried he is falling more and more behind.. I don’t know what’s “normal” :(

My girl has been saying a couple words for a few months. It used to sound like she was saying her name and "pretty kitty" when she first started. She hasn't really continued those though. Currently, she regularly says momma, dad/daddy, baby, buh bye, hi, cat. She will say "hi cat" or "hi Daddy", which impressed her pediatrician yesterday. She said two word sentences are more a 2-y/o thing. 
Like yours, mine has known how to walk for a while. She really perfected her furniture cruising. And in just the last week, she has started gaining more confidence in walking (without hanging onto anything), and is currently walking up and down our hallway, toy in hand, as I type this 😂
As for eating, we started out with purees for maybe 2 weeks when she turned 6 mo and then I looked up Baby Led Weaning and have been doing that since. She doesn't know how to use a spoon or anything like that so I still spoon feed her some things (yogurt, mostly) but otherwise she feeds herself off her tray. I just have to cut up her food appropriately.
I know it's hard not to compare - my niece is 11mo older than my girl and she learned how to walk and talk suuuuper fast so I am always comparing. Have your lo had their 12 month wellness appt yet? If not, bring up these concerns and see what they think.

It’s totally normal to worry about these things. I do it too, even though I know the saying “all babies are different”
My girl is a TALKER, as our pediatrician confirmed yesterday😂She’s been saying mama and dad’s since she was like 5 months old. But now she says bye bye, hi, all done, shoe, bird, duck, ball, dog, cat, and a few more words. She also literally just babbles to her toys all day every day. 
As for walking though, we’re NOWHERE near it, and that freaked me out. She’s a butt scooter(zero interest in crawling), and she’s been doing that solidly for almost 2 months now. But my girl doesn’t even cruise furniture or even really pull to stand yet😭So your guy is way ahead of her in that aspect. Our dr said if she’s not pulling to stand by 13 months, we will have to see a physical therapist because she is SUPER flexible. So she’s worried she doesn’t have the strength in her legs and hips yet possibly. I’m trying not to worry, but of course it’s hard as a new mom!
And as far as eating for us, she got the ponder grasp right away, and loves to feed herself, but she’s starting to become a picky eater. I think it’s super common for them at this age to only want two or three foods that they really like🤷🏻‍♀️

My girl started intentionally saying mama at 10.5 months, but it’s the only word she says. She signs at least a dozen words though. She took her first step at 11.5 months and has been walking consistently since 12.5 months. Feeds herself with her hands and sort of plays with her spoon lol. Every kid is SOO different!!! Don’t let it stress you out!

My son is walking but he doesnt say anything other than mama and papa, but i dont think he really identifies me and his dad with those words het, he just heard them repeatively to learn to say it. I feel like he is behind in knowing what things are and how to say multiple words etc. 
He doesnt use spoons etc but he holds his food and feeds himself. 
He is also the angriest kid ive ever known. He doesnt listen to me. Im really stressed with him and not sure what to do either since im due with my second in april 2020

My daughter only takes 4 steps— so shes not walking or talking, and I’m not worried. Whereas my older daughter was VERY verbal at the same age. I try not to compare.  I also have a friend whose daughter said no words until she turned 2, and within a few months was speaking in sentences. When in doubt, defer to your pediatrician. They’ll tell you if there’s a reason to be concerned or to seek out an evaluation. Every kid is different. Just keep on working on the skills you want them to develop and they’ll get there eventually

Mine can walk but she only says dada and mama very rarely. No other words and has been feeding herself for a long time now.

My son is almost 13months and only says mama and dada and growls and has baby babble now and he just this past week started taking steps but couch and surface cruises perfectly still prefers to crawl and that’s ok bcz it is giving his right hand strength that it needs from the trauma from birth and he never ate baby food we turned baby food into like a smoothie just watered it down and he would drink it instead of eat it that was the only way he would even touch it and than we gave regular food from 6months on and he doesn’t repeat any thing we do and can’t like wave or clap eats with his hands only his therapists say he is not behind every child is different and do things differently he doesn’t even jump in his jumper or the doorway jumper and he doesn’t walk in the walker only walks with the push walker

Mine just says mama, daddy and hi but I’ve heard that babies in bilingual household take longer to talk. As for walking, she never crawled do she has been practicing since 7 months so she’s and expert by now and can run ( really funny though).

My daughter started saying “ mama “ around 6 ish months I’d say . Then she said dada, more, hi. Now she’s 1 as of July 26th and she says “ mama, dada, titi, hi, all done, i love ya, hello,more “ she started walking around 10 months . I feel like my daughter should be saying more words but I’m not sure what’s the “ usual” is

Definently don't worry! 
My daughter (born July 24th) has been sayong worda for a few months. She says about 20 word but mostly just gibberish. 
She's been feeding herself since 6 months old but if I'll (or anyone) feed her she'll let me. She'd rather someone else do it. She's lazy lol!
She took her first steps on July 8th but didn't really start walking until around the 20th 
My friends daughter (that she adopted) was born premature and addicted to drugs (thank god she is over all that) started crawling and walking before Addison. She's 1 and half months younger. My boy friend and SIL pointed it out and were worried. I'm not because all kids developed at different times.
My girls are 11 years apart. My first was horn on July 26th 2007 and Addison was born on July 24th 2018. Looking at Summer's baby book compared to Addison's is so different.
