Did you do anything to move things along starting at 37 weeks?

Wondering if this is too early or if I can start trying to get labor moving along haha

Me personally- no. With my last pregnancy I went to just past 41 weeks- I had a sweep to get things moving. I walk and do squats but that won’t get labor going, just great excercises. The only things that will guarantee getting labor going is dr intervention. Having sex could work- orgasms release oxytocin that could potentially bring on contractions and sperm has prostaglandins in it that can soften your cervix over time. And nipple stimulation could maybe work but if done too early could bring on false labor. But I wouldn’t try on purpose till I was fullterm at 40 weeks. Due dates are just estimates not expiration dates 💕
