So I’m an associate at Walmart and it will be 4 years in October that I’ve been employed there. I’ve been there since 2015.. They do have me down as a part time associate in the system as I started when I was a minor at 17 and I’m now 21. So I had no choice but to work part time. I’ve asked my manager to switch me over to full time and she kept giving me lame excuses so it was never done.. my thing is I work full time hours.. and I’ve read that only full time associates get paid maternity leave which isn’t fair to me because I work full time hours. I work over 30 hours after I turned 18 up until now. Like this week I literally have 37 hours.. I’m wondering if I will get paid or not. Anyone had similar situation?
