Kicking Postpartum Pound’s Ass!
I am here posting again to encourage all of those who want to lose weight !
I am 25 years old i had 3 babies
My oldest is 5
My middle babe is 3
And my youngest is 7 months old
With my first i was 18 when i got pregnant ! I weighed 122lbs before her! I gained 54 lbs.
I then got to 145 around 2 years pp. i wasn’t physically fit or anything i just let my body do its thing while breastfeeding !
My second baby girl i gained 43 lbs ! But i couldn’t lose any weight while nursing her. Then when she was 18 months old i started going to the gym ! I lost 52 lbs ! Then as soon as i hit my goal i found out i was expecting another blessing!
I will always be thankful but as many know things get quite discouraging once something you worked so hard to get to slowly becomes a memory. But that didn’t stop me i embraced the change , i went to the gym, i stayed active. I still gained 42 lbs. i also had a severe case of polyhydraminos (it gets worse with subsequent pregnancies). Then he was here and everything was amazing but then 2 months in i realize the weight gain was more than i anticipated! And just like with my second it was not coming off easily . So once i got cleared i started working on myself remembering the training i had done to lose the weight before . Just like when i started working on losing weight before it took a good month or two of good eating habits and working out to lose any weight. Then around 3 months pp i started to lose lbs. 10, then 20 then now at 7 months pp 42 lbs! But i want to say something else to change perspective- i stopped going to the gym at 4 months pp (my little man needed mama more) i went for walks once in a while and watched my diet intensely and stayed well hydrated (so important when breastfeeding) ! The last 22lbs came off in a period of 3 months of no regular gym habits . Recently (past 3 weeks) I’ve been going to to the gym once a week here are my update pictures :)
JUST A REMINDER YOU CAN DO THIS!
3monthspp->7monthspp
27 weeks->12weekspp->7monthspp
3 months -> 7 months
