When you gave birth for the first time did you tear? what kind of tear did you have ??

PLEASE COMMENT IF YOU FEEL COMFORTABLE, I just would really like to know what to expect I’m pretty sure I’m going to tear and have to get stitches but I just would like to hear some of y’all experiences so I can get an idea of what to expect!

My daughter was 8lbs 5oz I had a second degree tear. It was really painful for like 2 weeks. Dermoplast and my Frida mom peri bottle saved my life. I’m two months pp and sex still kind of hurts but it’s getting better.

Many second degree tears and lots of stitches. It sucked and took 4 months to feel better down there and have sex again. 
I’m hoping for no tears this time.

Yupp. My little girls was 7.9lbs I had a second degree tear. Honestly she bruised my tailbone in the way out and I was more bothered by that. I'm 3 weeks post partum and my stiches are already out.

Not sure what degree I had but had stitches which hurt like hell when she did them because I wasn’t medicated during delivery. The healing process was quick for me tho.

Yea with my 1st daughter I had second degree tearing n got about 5 stitches. My 2nd daughter no tearing n hopefully with this one I get none again

Second degree tear. I tore to the side  so it was not that bad for me .I felt the tugging of the stitches when the got put in but I was given a numbing shot  for it ! It burned when I peed and when they cleaned that area but I can't  say if  it was because of the stitches/ tear or just the fact of just given birth and everything.

I only had 1 stitch but I’m not gonna lie, when I peed it was like being set on fire for like a week. Worst pain ever. With my second child I didn’t tear at all though.

I had a second degree test. It wasnt horrible. Definitely uncomfortable. Stitches. Keep it clean like crazy. Mine healed pretty quick and didnt hurt when I peed or anything like I expected.

I had one tiny tear on my inner labia, just had one stitch. I had a natural waterbirth.
