A few months ago I tested positive for hsv 1. My first cold sore came up a few days ago. I haven't tried dating or anything since my diagnosis.

I'm terrified to even kiss someone knowing it could transmit it without a breakout.

How do you date when even a simple kiss becomes complicated? I'm ready to start dating again but feel like I cant and shouldnt. Is the best option stay single?
