Has anyone who has had a laparoscopy surgery for endo know if it’s normal for your next period to be delayed? Mine are like clockwork but it’s late to start and was wondering if it had something to do with that.

My lap procedure messed up my whole cycle - my period was wayyyyyy late/delayed and once it came I bleed for 20+ days. They did hormones levels and they were all off after the surgery (were always normal before and have afterwards now). RE said that manipulation of the uterus and ovaries can stress the reproductive system and throw things out of whack until the normalize. Once I was done bleeding things were all back to normal and have been since!

I had surgery to remove a blocked Fallopian tube, so a different surgery, but my next period was a couple weeks late. Since then they have been back on schedule.

I had my surgery the week I was supposed to start and my cycle came on time and continued to be regular afterwards
