Is this correct?

I went to my first doctors appointment when I was 6 weeks and everything was fine. Got all my blood work done. I'm currently 10 weeks. And the doctor only scheduled to see me again when I'm 16 weeks. Is this right? Shouldn't I be going in again sooner?

Different for every doctor. Mine see you a 8, 12, 15, etc. (every 4 weeks) until appointments are sooner towards the end of a pregnancy.

I had my first appointment at 8 weeks and next at 13.  It would be normal to have one around 12 weeks to offer genetic testing along with the nuchal fold scan, which needs to be done before 14 weeks if you choose to do it.  Can you call and see if there was an error in that scheduling? That’s a long way to go with no check in at all.

It’s usually every 4 weeks at that point but maybe your doctor is going to out of town around that time.

It’s usually every 4 weeks! I would probably ask just to make sure because I personally wouldn’t be able to wait 10 weeks for my next appointment!
