Has anyone taken monistat postpartum?

Thought it was weird my midwife recommended only 1 week postpartum.. thank you

I'm having the same symptoms (itchy but no discharge) and I'm 3 weeks PP. My OB has not given me the go to use monistat yet until she checks me tomorrow. She recommends nothing be inserted before 6 weeks but will let me know tomorrow if I can use monistat or if she'll call in the one time pill for it. (If it is a yeast infection)
But one week does seem super early and I know I was itching and irritated from giving birth and internal lacerations at 1-2 weeks PP.

No but did you have a swab done to check for yeast? Do you have symptoms of a yeast infection?

I had a csection and got a HORRIBLE yeast infection. I didn't know they gave me antibiotics so it was rough. My doctor prescribed diflucan.
