If you have a chance to tour your hospital, do it! I went today and got to see the labor and delivery room and postpartum room & ask any questions I wanted to. Even though it made me anxious in the sense that everything is getting more real and I will soon have a baby, it made me feel so much better! Labor & delivery room was huge, the atmosphere was calm and quiet, we got to see that the nurses are watching our vitals on a big screen tv next to their desk, and they said I would be free to walk around and use the shower and birthing balls as needed while laboring! Things I would’ve never known before and make me feel more comfortable going into the laboring process.
