My father asked me the other day that since I don't have a mother because my mom hasn't really been in my life if he could be there when I have my baby. This really upset me for a few reasons. My dad or mom did not raise me. My grandmother did and while he was around a little bit and I love him and everything he is not the dad that he needed to me or in fact still needs to be for his other children that he doesn't see. He's 38 years old and lives with his mom because he broke it off with his long term girlfriend that I call my mother basically and she supported him while he didn't have a job and everything. Honestly he's a bum and I'm only going to allow him to be in my son's life if he can get his shit straight. My stepmom (Dad's Ex) is the closest thing I've ever had to a mother besides my grandmother and I love her so much for becoming a mom to two children that she didn't have to be a mom to. She's an amazing woman and I'm pissed that my dad just automatically thinks she won't be there when my baby is born. She's my mom.. My grandmother would have been my first choice but she wasn't comfortable with it and I completely support her decision. And lastly my dad drives me NUTS. He means well but I've asked him to stop constantly calling me beautiful. There is no way that I would let a man that can't take a hint and stop talking be there during the worst pain of my life. 😂 I understand he is my dad and I love him but I do not want him there when I have my son. I guess I just kinda wanted to rant but I also wanted to get y'alls opinion on the situation.
