Donating breast milk ...?
I am considering offering to pump extra to donate to my friend who is having a baby. He is going to basically be a single dad. The mom won’t breastfeed and really shouldn’t anyways because she still drinks and smokes. But I know colostrum is so good for babies. But I want to make sure my sons needs are met first. Should I pump for my friends baby after he has gone through my colostrum? Is it a weird thing to even offer? I know fed is best but breastfeeding really does have more benefits if it is an option. This is all assuming I am physically able to produce as well of course.
