Anyone struggle with Anemia? LAB RESULT HELP!

I’m waiting to hear back from my doctors, but I wanted to know if anyone had experience with results like mine? I’ve been taking iron supplements but it’s done nothing for my ferritin. 
Can anyone help interpret how severe this is? Did you need infusions?

Ferritin is how much iron is stored in your body. You have low iron thus you have low ferritin. I don’t know your CBC which correlates with these findings. Some people find they absorb ferrous citrate better than ferrous sulfate so you may want to ask your doctor about that. Also, if you are taking iron with meals or dairy products, it has less absorption rates. You could easily have a blood disorder such as thalassemia as well which can cause all of this. Many women don’t even know they have it until pregnancy.
