Broccoli Beef 🥦 🥩 (nearly perfected- just wish I could get the meat even more tender...)

🥦 🥩

Here’s my take out broccoli beef copy cat recipe:

1 pound tri tip steak (thinly sliced against the grain)

2 small heads of broccoli (I eat the stem too- just cut it diagonally)

Marinate the sliced meat:

2 tablespoons soy sauce

2 tsp. oyster sauce (I use the Dynasty brand)

2 tsp. corn starch

While meat is marinating, cook 2 tsp of ginger paste and 2 tsp of garlic paste on lowest heat in 2 tablespoons of avocado oil (you could also use fresh ginger)

Chop the broccoli into even pieces and coat with 2 tsp sesame oil and 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil

Turn the heat to highest setting and add beef once it sizzles upon being placed in the pot (I use a big nonstick pot that’s probably designed for giant batches of soup but it works well for this). Once the meat no longer sticks and is well browned on one side, add the broccoli and give everything a stir. Continue cooking until desired doneness of broccoli (e.g. some people like more al dente with the meat with some pink).
